Sounds like we are developmental twins. I'm an enterprise architect by day (J2EE). But by night, I'm a ruby/rails guy.

The funny thing is that I was alerted to the domain availability by on of those overpriced domain registrars that was claiming to have "held the domain" for me, for only $100!. Thanks to their script, I was able to just go over to godaddy and do things myself. Funny how middlemen try to leverage an information asymmetry...

What kind of development do you do? I focus on web-centered stuff, but "web development" increasingly focuses on automated back-end data transformation/alerting, so I end up with my hands in quite a bit.

Darn! You beat me to the domain!

I actually worked a lot over the holidays preparing a new site for danlynn.org. It sounds like we are twins regarding extreme activities and software dev. I haven't been in a band since high school tho.

Funny thing is that in my grade school there were 2 other boys in my same grade that were named Dan Lynn. You might even be one of them?
